A corrosion resistant, marine-grade polycarbonate fitting. Single round hole installation, flush mounting. Spring loaded latch operates with pull of lift ring and can be opened from inside the closure as well. This fitting is rated for a 60 lb. working load on the latch pawl, and will tolerate temperature extremes from 0 to 140 deg. Fahrenheit.
We've offered these latches and their black counterparts as standard options on all the hundreds of custom boat doors we've produced over the years -- and have yet to receive any complaint regarding initial quality or durability over time.
